The National WWII Museum
The National WWII Museum is the most-visited museum in Louisiana and one of the top history museums in the country, drawing more than 700,000 visitors per year to its six-pavilion campus in the Warehouse District. The collection spans more than 250,000 artifacts, hundreds of oral histories, and immersive theater experiences including the 4D film "Beyond All Boundaries." The museum is open daily except Mardi Gras and Christmas Day, 9am to 5pm.
Charter buses and motorcoaches use the museum’s published unloading/loading zone along Magazine Street; museum staff issue a pass for complimentary bus parking two blocks away under the I-10 overpass, and buses cannot unload or load on Andrew Higgins Drive. Check the official group visits page before your trip.
